No one ever
really likes to say what they've done.
Just like they don't really like to say
What's happened to them.
"When it happened..."
"The incident"
"That day..."
They act as though
naming the thing they did
and the thing that happened
to them will suddenly make
those things revisit them.
Maybe it will.
